My name is Carrie (students also call me Zhang Laoshi) I am originally from Beijing and I am a native Mandarin speaker. Currently I am living and working in London. I have taken courses and trainings to develop myself as a better teacher / tutor. I have been teaching and tutoring Mandarin since 2012. I`m also a GCSE class teacher in a chinese school in north London
My lessons are tailored according to what each student needs and I believe lessons should be an enjoyable experience for both student and teacher. Helping students build their confidence through a comfortable learning atmosphere is also my goal.In addition to teaching Mandarin, I also offer tuition and guidance on Chinese culture, customs, lifestyle and Chinese etiquette.
I feel a great sense of fulfilment seeing my students develop their Chinese skills and that continues to fuel my passion for teaching Mandarin.
